Privacy policy
Last updated 5 October 2026. Applies to the WA Mitra Chrome extension and this website, operated by Your Name / Firm Name.
The short version
- Your recipient numbers, messages, attachments, templates and reports never leave your browser. They are stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device only.
- The extension talks to exactly two places:
web.whatsapp.com(the page it automates, in your own session) andwa-mitra.giftkoo.com(the licence check). - The licence check sends your licence key and a random device id — nothing else. No numbers, no message text, no browsing data.
- We have no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and we sell nothing to anyone.
What we hold, and why

Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. It receives what a payment needs — card or UPI details, billing country, email. We never see or store card numbers or UPI credentials. Its policy: Razorpay.
Email delivery
Transactional email (keys, sign-in links) is sent through Brevo. They receive your address and the message; nothing more.
Your rights
Ask us at wa-mitra@giftkoo.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, and we will within 30 days. Deleting your data ends the subscription. In the extension, Settings → Erase all extension data removes everything stored on your device and releases your browser's licence slot.
Children
WA Mitra is a business tool and is not offered to anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will email subscribers. The date at the top always shows the current version.
